What's your favourite sandwich ?

Postby Mark » Wed Feb 26, 2014 2:44 pm

OK, here's a thread that may, or may not work. Who got any favourite, slightly unusual sandwich recipes ?

I love a strong cheddar cheese and crunchy peanut putter sarnie :D
Cheers

A total Slob out one for work every Friday at work each week (albeit made on a Thursday night  :laughing-rolling: ) is:

Bacon and Eggs with sautéed onions, on white bread with butter, and a dash of English mustard Oh, and tomato sauce .....!!!!   :laughing-rolling:

NB, I do hasten to add that I do eat normally for the rest of the week !!!!! :laughing-rolling:

Another of my favs ! White bread, preferably home made (all praise the bread machine :angelic-sunshine: ), lots of butter, and a big mound of ready salted crisps :D
Cheers

Fish fingers, white bread, loads of butter, tomato ketchup. Perfect after a few beers.

Aaah, salad cream. That's abit like marmite. You either love it or hate it. I hate it. Reminds me of school salads :puke-front:

In my single days i used to watch the Villa with a friend from Iran at half time we went for a drink and he saw the menu on the wall and asked me WHAT CHIP BUTTIE, bit easier to explain than the offside rule.

Donkeys years ago I went to a boarding school, every Wednesday we had dripping on brown bread .......

The dripping was the dregs of the frying pans and the brown bread was just totally solid, to say that it all tasted disgusting is a total understatement!!!!!

Never mind the dripping, but I didn't even eat any bread for approx the following 20 years !!!!!

Fresh white bread, with barbecue chicken breast from a local butcher, grilled and then cut into slices placed in the sandwich with mayonnaise.

I had a change of routine this Friday as the QQM cooked a roast chicken etc. last night.

So some meat from the bird above (I'm talking about the chicken not the QQM !!!! :laughing-rolling: ) stuffing (dare I go in to that ???!!! :laughing-rolling: ), finely diced onion, a dash of mustard all on whole grain bread. All very nice ! :D
