Brilliant choice and if what you did last year is anything to go by, I think we all are up for a stiff competition again this year ;)

Just ordinary PVA white glue mainly, plus non-blooming cryo for any windows, thick cryo for any metal bits.
I'm planning to make the railings from thin thread/wire, instead of trying to cut card ones - cutting 0.2mm wide card is beyond me, even when strengthened with thin cryo.
The kit makers do sell a set of laser cut pieces for the fiddly bits, but as well as making the kit too expensive for this comp, it's far more satisfying to make them from scratch.

Progress has been made, and as soon as I get the pics onto my mate's PC, will post them here. The beauty of paper modelling is that one can photocopy the sheets, allowing for some practice runs on the tricky bits. :)

Certainly can't do that with a plastic kit, makes a bit of mess in the copier!

Tell me about it !! Many years ago I got presented with a rather messy photocopier to fix. Some bright spark though it was too much effort to print sticky labels and stick them on spare parts bags. Thought he would photocopy directly onto the plastic bags....... It's not easy removing melted plastic from the heated roller :angry-banghead: :angry-banghead: :angry-banghead:

Yep, lots to do still, and on the really fiddly bits now....
But progress is being made, and more pics to follow soon - can't load them onto this shared library PC, so will do it when I am next at mate's terminal.
