Heres my entry, Airfix www1 Female Tank, not much to add but Im going to attempt a lot of weathering and build a little diaorama for it :handgestures-fingerscrossed:

And a start made on the sponsons, originally I tried to drill the guns out but soon gave that idea up.
(The one on the left, now replaced with a bit of electrical wire.)

Sorry for the dark pic.

A really great choice,

I can't find a max RRP on it due to it being discontinued.. http://www.airfix.com/uk-en/wwi-female-tank-1-76.html however I am more than satisfied that if this kit was still in production that the RRP will be well within the price range http://www.airfix.com/uk-en/wwi-male-tank-1-76.html the male tank RRP at £6.59

I look forward to seeing what you will do for your diorama

Roy :)

Off to a cracking start Number 1!
Anytime time I see a small tank kit, I always think of Lt Gruber and his little Tank!

Second mistake anyone? the part I forgot to put in previously was the wrong way round, there is another lot of springs to add in front of this piece, its all the right way round in this pic.

The wheels are not fixed at the moment,
thanks for looking.

I've built this kit before, it's a lovely kit, good fit and well detailed for an oldish model.
Hope you do a better job than I did of painting it - I messed that up a bit !!
Cheers

First coat of paint added, all colours are what Airfix recommend in the instructions put on with a hairy stick (and it shows  )

I added a black wash overall followed by dark earth weathering powder fixed with some thinners, I haven't had time to do the diorama unfortunately so this is it finished.
