Closer view of front sections! The two red and yellow thrusters are crying out to be drilled out and LEDs fitted! Plus the lower hatch which is where the winch is although not supplied should be moded!

Close up of vehicle and other sections. The two side window sections which are actually camera windows are moulded in semi transparent black and painted body colour! I was hoping the glass would be separate so I could replace them with clear plastic but there not! I was going to put cameras in them and light up this section. I'll have to think a bit more about this!

One of the tiny, tiny figures next to a AA size battery. Painting is quite good considering the tiny scale!

Pic of inside of front section. Even with the floor parts fitted later on there is plenty of room to fit further improvments!

Start of the build. Here is a top view of the cabin area. Although nicely detailed it needs more!

Front of cabin! Still looking a bit flat!

I've been watching videos and studying pics of the cabin area. The first mod is to fit control levers! I've used thin chrome pins with thin wire insulation to represent the handles! I know they may look a bit big but in my opinion look better than flat painted detailing.

Side view of cabin with levers. Have also drilled out the holes for the fibre optics to represent lights! Some flash and some don't! This is where watching videos gives an idea as to which lights do what!

Constructed the Thunderbird 4! A very nice detailed and accurate model! This at the moment is only press fitted together as I will strip it back down to work out how to light it up! There's not much room inside it so this is going to be a real challenge!
