Hello,

I 'm a little late as we are now at number 67 :
So the last steps with the number 58 :
Those 2 pieces are originaly black, so repainted silver (tamiya) :

Those are also delivered in black, but they must be painted in the body color, here I used Tamiya (champagne metal), it is not exactly the same with the body but it will be ok for me

Hello,
Here are issues 63 and 64, on 63 we have the electronic part, but seems very disapointing for many of us, it's realy hard to have the suspension working properly. I haven't try it, and I'm not sure keep it.

Nice to see a rolling chassis with lots of wires. What's the issue with the working suspension ?
Cheers

mark, it's a matter of proper assembly and placement of the cog wheels, or else the corners don't raise/lower equally...
it's way more sophisticated than the lorry suspension of the db5, and even that caused problems,,,

Hello,

The electric part of the 65, it seems that the instructions are wrong and it doesn't work if you follow the picures. I do not try yet.

steve the ds had only the body panels painted, everything else was black - on all models - the altaya model comes with all chassis parts in body colour which is wrong...
...and the parts #67 are the inner rear wings, the ds has only the boot in the back and no spare wheel bay, the spare is in the engine bay in front of the engine ;)

quite a sophisticated machine for 1955 -
the spare was used as part of the passenger protection impact barrier having been placed far at the front of the car -
aerodynamically hidden wipers, load sensitive automatic headlight height adjustment including turning with the front wheels,

Hello everybody,

Here are the issues 68 and 69 : the front body, there is only one part in fact. The black colour is repainted over gold.

Hello everybody,

A little more about the big Citroen, here we have the upper structure with a very strange white color. So it has been repainted black for the outside and grey inside.

Hello,

Some news of the DS 21, I made a little more on the structure in putting bare metal on the sides. You will find here also the next steps on the interior and the back signals (doesn't works for me) for few people in France have rebuilt the signals, realy wonderful.

And now some news of the DS 21, since June all the 110 issues are now arrived, I am less and less motivate on the model. There will be a meeting in October at the Citroën museum near Paris for those who build the model, I hope mine will be finished at this moment.
