Finally I managed to assemble all the engine :)

This build is different from what I was expecting: almost everything is assembled by screws, there are a big number compared to my builds of the De Agostini Countach and the Hachette Giulia, that use a lot snap-in.
I found some problems due to the weakness of some screw: I broke 2 screws even I was not applying much torque....
Anyway I am really happy to see it going.
Cheers

Seats are assembled and it seems they are ok.

On the other side I started assembling parts on the frame (issue 30), and it seems that the tow ring is on the wrong side

I think I will miss the right tow ring and I'll have two lefty rings :? .
Anyway I keep going :)

Ok, now I need some advice: I am building following the order of issues, I'm around the 52th, and I should assemble the covers of the front suspensions.
I know there are problems with instructions of wiring the electric motors and I think I should test them before, it adviceable to test them now temporarily connecting the electronic board and the batteries?
I know I will have to trim the switches to level all the wheels, now they are still accessible....
Thanks for all suggestions will come.

Hello Betto,

First of all, there are really few DS Altaya with a good working suspensions (I never put battery in mine)

Here is the translation of a good advice for that :

Do not mount the engines, they must be tested empty and stop them up and down by pressing the limit switches by hand.
Do the engine test by motor and there we realize the errors of the scheme.
If you do not do that, you destroy gearbox gears, it does not resist a mechanical blockage.

And also have a look at this :

I already knew that video and even if I can speak french I had some difficulties to catch the whole meaning.
But I was there, I have to disassemble the motors to test them. :(
