I suspect they are re-using several parts from the duetto spider and need to adapt some of the instructions they didn't think of before...

I thought it was a board from the Duetto, because the missing plugs are for the blue roof light and the supplemental light.

I could check during holidays, all duetto parts still in original packaging so just need to search a bit...

Hi.
I received issues 55, 56 and 57.
And also issue 45 with correct led support.

Pics
Dashboard supports, rear seat support and rubber carpets.
Image

It was quite tricky to place the steering shaft, it works but the plastic gives a worrying sensation of weakness....

And, after so long time, the seat from issue number 1...

That's a lot of wiring Betto. How did you get them all plugged in? The space they are squeezed into looks tiny!

Hi Chadders87.
This is just an impression due to the 2 wires dedicated to the blue roof light and the supplemental roof spotlight. They are still waiting for the roof ...
All other wires are now sitting at their correct places. I made a test and it seems everything is working fine.

It has passed some time, but the progress is going on.
Here there are the issues I received in the meantime.

The internal panel of the left front door, the driver's one, some hinges and the right rear door:
Image

Internal panel of rear right door, its internal structure and the glass. Glasses of rear doors are not opening.
Image

The right front door plus its internal structure with glass opening mechanism and its glass:
Image

The last issue is quite heavy :) but very nice: the main metal body with the last elements to assemble the left rear door.
Image

The doors sweetly go into their bays, the dimensions are very precise.
The car is taking shape nicely, I like it so much :)

Image

This is the actual situation.

Bye :D

VERY nice - we have only 4 issues to go - they could have finished earlier, with so much road sign equipment etc supplied that wouldn't be quite essential for the car...

Oh well, you are buying it through a newspaper shop 1 issue per week, me I made a subscription that delivers 3 issues per month so I still have have to wait to finish ;) .
The last issue I received is the 78, 22 issues to the end, about 7 months.... :?

Here I am, received the usual 3 issues and I want to update my Giulia's situation
The ceiling, internal stuff like mirror, handle for the roof spotlight, sun visors and internal covers for the body
Image

Doors assembled
Image

Image

The rear left door is slightly bent, it doesnt' fit well.... :?
Image

Interior works, quite easy
Image

I advice to take care passing the wires going down from the roof through the sides or the rear window, just to avoid to squeeze them
Image

That's all folks!
Bye.

Shame about the rear door, will you try and get a replacement or can it be tweaked so it fits?

very nice progress betto - they could have spared us the last 4-5 issues with all the road signs included - but well, it's a carabinieri car so probably it has to be there!!

Are they reading your posts about deliveries speed ba?

Here are the pictures.

Hello!
Yesterday I received a lot of stuff for my models, The Giulia, the Countach and the DS21....
But for the Giulia there was not much to do, let's see.

Image

Image

I choosed not to work on the fenders because it would not be definitive, I'll do when I will receive all the stuff to put them in place.
I found a little surprise: The all chrome left part of the front grill I received with issue number 1 has been replaced by another version, more realistic, black and chrome.
The only work I made, I assembled the right side and I found it's superbly made of super good quality: the black metal grills and the fairing lens are going in place with nanometric precision. :D

Ciao!
This is the longest session since I started this build.
Here are the pictures.

I broke the internal handles of the front doors assembling the body and the frame.... had to glue them....

The look is impressive, I like it very very much :D
