Cheers guys, I've put all the engine parts together now will post photo's soon. I did have to redo one of the air pipes as it wouldn't allow the cockpit to sit down once it was all fitted as a dry run, but hopefully that's all sorted.

There's not much more to do just some more black spray when I get the chance to get to a shop and buy another rattle can, then I need to get the body shell repainted.

Just working on the exhaust at the moment, not much todo with them.

Checking to see if it all fits together this is where I found that the alternator cooling pipe was incorrect and had to be moved.

Next I looked at the exhaust system.

The two main silencer parts come in 5 parts each, so there where glued and filed.

Cheers W2,

I desided that the body work will be getting done by a profesionl car sprayer. don't fancy spraying this huge body shell with rattle cans.

Ok so this project has been on hold since April :| :shifty:

Main reason was getting all the body parts repainted, I did find a company that does restoration work and agreed to take on the project in June.

But after many phone calls and failed promises I collected it back from them 4 weeks ago as it hadn't been touched

So I had to go looking for someone else to do it, I know I could have done it over time but I wanted a professional finish and so get the right people that know there stuff to do it.

I managed to find someone else just up the road from me that does accident repairs and bumper repairs, so I took it to them 2 weeks ago and he said he could do it great.

Got a phone call today saying it was all done, so I'm going to collected on my way home from work tomorrow.

Just  that it's a good finish.
