The seat was given a slightly darker grey to give some contrast but you can hardly tell in the photos. after the clear coat (semi-gloss) was dry the decals were added. The decals are easy to apply and strong but in my opinion were a little too long so I chopped a square off one end before adding them.

Thanks Roy :) had a busy week so not much done on the Bubble car just the gear shifter and foot peddles. The molotow chrome from the 3mm ball marker flows very well through an airbrush and you don't need a lot for small parts, even though it says chrome on the bottle its not the liquid chrome you get from the 1mm, 2mm and 3mm markers  its more of a dull chrome. Hopefully you can see this from the following photos. I had a quick go last night to extract some colour from the 1mm marker but was unsuccessful, I will try again later with a paperclip to push down the pump under the replaceable nibs/tips.
After the dull chrome was dry on the smaller parts I added the liquid chrome using the 1mm marker, great for small areas and as number1 said touching up after detachment from the sprue. With Molotow it needs a good overall coating to get the paint to pool and give the best results but bear in mind that if overdone can hide some detail so a light coat to start with and hopefully one light wet coat. You want to try to get it done in two to three passes, it dries very quickly to the touch but best left to cure over a couple of days save getting finger print marks everywhere. And you can clear coat without loosing the chrome affect unlike Alclad :)

:laughing-rolling: I was so relieved when I saw the decals, i did think of leather for the seat but the stuff I have isn't suitable.

Thanks Morris :) the decals were thicker than most I have used and easy to use and with a little micro sol you get the textured seat showing through so pleased with how they look. Shame the BMW Isetta badge wasn't etched.

Just the door to polish and the door insert to paint light grey to match the interior. The rack for the storage area behind the driver to paint and fit  Chrome parts are drying and the steering column and wheel are ready to fit.

Luggage rack comes in two parts and best glued in situ. When dry was painted and fixed in place.

I didn't do a very good job on the door inside and missed areas so instead of breaking out the airbrush I used a piece of sponge then when dry used clear coat on another sponge.
The door insert is painted in light grey around the edge and a darker grey for the lining.

The left wheel arch has a nice scratch  not sure how that happened
