Kit arrived from jadlam yesterday for a bargain price of £18 (thanks Les ) Thought I would have a look at what's in the box and ended up building most of it in a couple of hours What a great kit Snaps together with an excellent fit to all parts and little or no flash to remove and the detail is incredible I did use a spot of Tamiya thin cement here and there but you really don't need any. The instructions are easy to follow and nicely laid out and you get three bags of parts and a set of decals and stickers (personal preference) I really enjoyed building this kit so as the AT-AT is on offer I got that as well for a future build. Here are a few pics of the parts and a few build photos. I should hopefully get the extra paints I need this morning and get a primer coat on later.

Detail on Chewie looks excellent
Few pics of the build, not every step but you can see how she goes together
Hey guys thanks for looking in I really like these kits, the fit it amazing and hardly any cleaning up to do I'm just finishing up the cockpit interior so It can be closed up ready for primer. So much detail to the inside and not many interior reference pics on the Internet so I dug out some cross section books and looked at Ralph Mcquarrie images to get some idea on colour. You have the option to lock the walker in a pose with two parts that fit and stop the top of the legs from adjusting but as the joints are so good and stiff you can pose when complete and leave them out. Not sure about the stand yet, it's a bit small so I may use and add to it or make another I want to give it a certain stance so the feat will be further apart. No logs or Ewoks in this one, don't think I will add Chewie either but the chicken does need a pilot.
I've never been into Star Wars models much - I like the movies (I too binged on the Sky movies SW run recently ) - This thread is changing my mind - it is a cool kit! Watching for the big finish -
