I've searched far and wide but can't find any other information other than what was posted here, has anyone else been able to subscribe or obtain the Ford GT40 issues?

The steering wheel is on the wrong side? How so? There are images on google that show both right AND left hand drive... No oil pump? Make it.

I still want it: in another part of the brochure it looks like it's on the correct side, and you are right, making the oil system is doable-hope it makes production regardless-still looking for a supplier of the test run issues

Actually, the steering wheel is a MASSIVE blunder.

They are making the 1969 Gulf car, number 6.
ANY Google image shows it's a RHD car.

That alone has really put me off.
No oil pump or ANY of the oil system in the rear - and there's a LOT of it.

What other blunders???

Nope - prob give this a miss.
I don't want another DB5.

In another part of the issue magazine it does look like the wheel is on the proper side, look at the small inserts at the bottom:

Here is another thing to consider: this is JUST A TEST. There have been plenty of tests that have had perceived issues rectified for the full production run.

I'll sit back, and see what transpires after the full run is announced.

Even with a test, the vast majority of the model design and even pre-production has been done.

Any BIG alterations (such as the entire steering mechanism, interior layout, pedal mechanism to the engine/gearbox etc) can't really be changed without massive re-design and expense.
The ONLY way this would change is if the mag distributor - Altaya? - insist, and say they might drop the project otherwise.
Very doubtful as even they have already invested big money.
It's possible they may just 'bite the bullet' and accept it's wrong, but depend on the huge majority who know no difference.

We'll see...

Not so. Take, for example, the Millennium Falcon. The test parts differed markedly from those in the production version. Or, as another example, the current R2-D2 offering. There are also significant differences between the test, and the production run.

I'm gonna wait!
