Painting Expert - WANTED for work

Postby cmr1991 » Thu Jul 18, 2019 10:14 pm

Hi,

Sorry, this may, or may not be the correct section. I am looking for an experianced model maker that is exceptionally good at painting.
I need a few 1/8 scale models repainting, some are metal, one or two are resin. All are 1/8 scale, stripped down to the bare shell ready for repainting.

These do have to be perfect, a high gloss uniform finish with no polishing/sanding marks etc.

Anywhere in the UK is fine, I am happy to post the parts.

regards,

If you have so many to paint it may be better to find a local spray shop that can do them all for you. It would cost an fortune to ship and return each one let alone the pro paint job on each model. just a thought :)

Hi Mark :) I hope you don't me asking you a question, I'm viewing from the "outside" so to speak, but what is it you mean by "local spray shop" for plastic models :?:
Again I hope you don't mind asking the questions.

Hi WN2, Local spray shop meaning a car body spray shop. The 1/8 partworks cars are mostly cast metal.
You could paint with rattle cans but if you have more than one car to do and want a perfect finish on all parts I would personaly get a pro to do them, Also are you wanting a metallic finish.
