Got it all worked out.

Lancaster down on Saturday, purchases away Saturday afternoon.
Parade Sunday morning, Return Sunday Afternoon, collect Lancaster, return home!

Busy weekend and for me with my dicky ticker, the closer to the venue the better which means more expenditure. Travelling by train is the better and cheaper option!

Would be nice to have our own little IPMS group as part of the forum and do a display at Telford. Take up a couple of tables as IPMS Partworks Froum or something like that! :D

You have a stressful trip james I hope it all goes to plan for you mate :)
I think this year as Its my first IPMS I will have a good look around the show and hopefully take some models next year when I have enough completed builds to take along. My barn diorama should be finished by then :laughing-rolling: and a couple more will have proper stands to show them off better. Great Idea james

The only really stressful part of the weekend is the Sunday Parade and march past. Of course there is negotiating Manchester and Wolverhampton train stations with a large box, but I have had practice with that. Manchester is quite easy, but a long walk but Wolverhampton has too many stairs!

I am looking forwards to meeting up with Number1 again at the Avon stand and also the rest of this gang on here that is making their way there. I do hope that steve131 has obtained permission from SWMBO to travel.

There will be ample opportunity to look through ZM's NEW release and I suppose a good discussion on display options. I have had to pay out for a new suit for Sunday's parade, so apart from ZM's kit there may be some smaller purchases that will be it this year. :( .

The small purchases will be for a couple of armour kits I have in and of course, I will need Vallejo's paint set for the Hs129. HK Models tells me he might have a surprise for me which sounds interesting.

First timers BE WARNED. Food and drink there are overpriced, expensive and (I must not use naughty words). TAKE YOUR OWN!

Let's have some fun, chaps!

Now that's a collectable! Keep that hidden at Telford or some light fingers might snag it!

Now, for those going and meeting at the Avon stand I can bring some award winning pork pies with me if you wish. The farm shop where we get our meat etc have won awards for their pork pies several years in a row and they are great!

Orders by Thursday or ASAP!

Nowt beats a Yorkshire Pork Pie!

Latest blog for ZM is up. Looks like the Hs129 is going to be a cracker!

Expect the ZM booth to be heaving as the Old Man is going to be there!

Pre-orders have closed, sorry.

You will get a look at mine and there are plenty of kits to tempt you. I will probably spend quite a while there talking with the Old Man, good friend of mine.

The new variant of the Ki-45 is a good buy and as you have seen from my build of the original release, a stunning build. I will be getting one at some point. I will be doing the same colour scheme, but trying to make it much tighter.

If you buy direct from ZM's website then their customs label will have the full price and it will automatically incur charges. I have a Japanese postal address (tenso.com). You pay shipping and handling but crucially you can fill in your own customs label with a price that just sails through customs! Depending on the shipping type you can save a little money on UK prices, but you will not incur the import, VAT and Royal Mail handling fee which can add up to 50% onto the cost of the kit!

I have already turned my thoughts to getting masks made for insignia and wonder how HGW do their wet transfers and if I can do them using blank media and an inkjet! Something to look in to!

Plenty to look at and discuss on Saturday!
