That's a nice layout, BigG. Great container terminal. You should switch that to the railway section of the forum.

It really is. Industry zones are interesting themes for a model railway.

Been busy building a helix (picture to follow) and two fiddle yards to hold all my stock. one is 4.8m long and the other 7.2m long and are situated below the layout. I purchased Railroad and Co train controller 7 software after giving it a good try out over christmas. I used LDT RS8 feedback modules for block detection and Lenz LS150 units to opperate the points motors.

Wow this really looks amazing. Great to have so much place... I wish I could go with longer trains, but on my layout it's impossible to move trains longer than 2,00 meters.

Hi Mike, iam useing peco flexi track. The overall size of the layout is 7m down left side 4m at end and 9.4m upright side, basically a U shape with a helix at either end to drop to the fiddle yard which goes all the way arround under the layout and rise at other end.

Hi BigG
Thats a brillant track plan, how long have you been building .
Your so lucky to have such a large layout.
I use the same peco track on my layout which is 13ft sq still ok after 10years :D
