Thought I'd post my most recent 'Nid here:

It's not 100% finished yet but there's only a couple of minor things to do so thought I'd share.

Comments? I'll try not to cry too much if they're bad! :D

You clearly didn't have a misspent youth hanging around Games Workshop then! ;) It's a subset from Warhammer 40K. I don't play with them though, I just build them, paint them and display them. They go quite nicely with my 6" Ghostbusters action figures. Something for them to "bust" since Mattel aren't forthcoming with that many ghosts.

I would post some pictures of more traditional models but, alas, they're all boxed up in the loft. :( Oh, all except my Comet Dalek. I might put a pic of that up.

Your 'Nid looks great. You can tell its a different style to the usual wargamers style, but it's very effective.

Do show us the Comet Dalek. I have a half completed one in a box somewhere.

I'll have to post more 'Nids and scare you good folks some more then!

Yup, I'm a bit of a Ghosthead. I collect the 6" and 12" figures from Mattel and I've got an almost complete collection of the NECA figures from the early 2000's. Just missing the Dancing Slimer! There's a lot of good stuff coming out this year. Drop me a PM if you want to know more Chill, as I'm not sure I'm allowed to advertise other companies stuff here? Don't want to break any rules before I've settled in! :D

Yes I will do Mark. I'll have to drag it off the top shelf and give it a dust before I do so, but I'll post in a new thread when I've done it.

There's no problem mentioning companies here as long as you're not promoting your own company. No hard rules, and I'm fairly relaxed about it.
I might get more excited if Mr Blogs, of Blogs Model Co. was pushing his products every day......

Fair enough Mark. In that case, the Ghostbusters stuff can be found at mattycollector.com. It's one of those funny sites that only sell figures for a few hours once a month. No, I don't get it either, but that's Mattel for you!

There was a big reveal yesterday; for the San Diego Comic Con there'll be a Stay Puft made of plush (or the kind of stuff a Tempa matress is made of), which will stand around 2' high. I'm waiting to see if it'll be available for shipment to the UK. Fingers crossed it will be, but they pulled the plug on the availablility to Europe of the PKE Meter last year so I'm not holding my breath! If anyone's interested in chatting GB, there's a forum attached to that site and I'm on there with the same username. It's a bit down at the mo, but the excitement's building up a bit more what with last night's news and the upcoming figures.

And while I'm here I'll direct you to my website so you can buy.... Nah! Only kidding! ;)
