Great job Jim, where did you get the 1/350 scale crew from? That's a nice touch!

My Repulse is still in the box....if I ever get my Hood finished I'll get her on the slipways!

Thanks peeps, the crew are Tamiya 350, pprox £6 for 144 pieces. they give some idea of just how big these ships were.

Indeed it does.

Gets me thinking, with the partswork releases of the Bismarck and now the Hood. It would be great if the final issue of the run (or any issue number for that matter) the publishing house gave us all a smattering of 1:200 scale figures to adorn our vessels with.

Nice one Jim, impressive looking warship the Repulse, I like the display stand too. I agree the figures are great for adding scale.
I've got some 1:200 figures for the Bismarck, but they're architectural figures, so I'm going to have to get a little creative to turn them into sailors, but it shouldn't be too hard. They're pretty small.
There's a couple of the unpainted beasties on the second top deck in the photo of the paper model in my build diary. I had to import them from the UK, so it should be easy for you guys to get them. If I can find the box they came in, I'll post the details on the Bismarck thread.
Sorry for the hijack Jim.

I got 200 assorted z scale figures on e-bay for a few pounds. they are almost perfect 200 scale figures, search for z scale think it equates to n guage.
