Mine were delivered this morning, the wooden (mdf) parts for the barbettes weigh a ton, will be using the 50 mm pipe idea from maximus2012, thanks for the tip!

Got 56, moore wheels for a launching trolley. The are spares, might come handy for something else. The plastic pipe I mentioned and have used on my hood are lighter and so much smother to paint, just a bit of 800 wet&dry and the are as smoth as a babys bottom. Still cand find the bits for issue 52, that is holding me back in finishing the turrets, but painting the barbettes is pointless because looking at pictures there will be more bits to be added on to it, so why telling us to paint them now?. I wish the people at hachette who are doing the breakdown on how to send the bits and doing the instructions would have some degree of common sense. We will be all very happy bunnys then.

Unfortunately nobody seems to realsie that you should not glue on top of paint if you can avoid it. It's a really annoying trait of partworks. The Tiger Tank is really bad for this. I usually ignore their painting instructions and paint at the last possible moment.

From what I can gather looking at the prototype images, the vents will be added to the barbettes at a way later stage. These will most definitely be assembled and painted separately from the main build.
