Spare turret top

Postby 5hort5 » Wed Sep 26, 2012 8:05 pm

Hi,

Does any one have a spare turret top by chance? My issues 52 to 55 turned up today and the one in issue 54 has a big crack in it. I really don't want to try hachette to get a replacement as based on other peoples reports you can't get hold of them and when you do they are useful as a chocolate tea pot. Any way it would be greatly appreciated if any has one spare and you could drop me a message. I have checked 52 and 54's turret tops and they look the same.

Many Thanks - Si
It'll be all fine in the end. If it's not fine it's not the end!

Send Hachette a mail giving your subscriber number and ask for a replacement.
I've had no problems getting replacements in the past.

Personally, I've phoned them in the past, and had replacements arrive without any problems.

well if i had a spare hat I would be eating it by now! Not only did i get a reply back from Hachette a couple of days later saying, basically, "no probs, we'll get a new issue in the post for you, should take 4 to 6 weeks", it turned up today. I think 10 days total turn around is really good so I'm really pleased, a big thanks to the people at Hachette.

Off now to eat more humble pie.

Nice to see somebody posting a compliment for a chance. Sadly most people only seem to post when they have problems.

Thanks !

Believe it or not a while ago i posted that I was missing an issue from my batch of issues and got a duplicate of another issue. I rung Hachette about it.

To be honest it had slipped my mind. But lo and behold it has turned up these past few days.

So another brownie point for them.

should be fine, yes - I wouldn't do much with replacements if I had a broken styrene part as it'll be better than new once glued...
