Just received my next batch of parts, unfortunately issue 57 contained a damaged part :angry-banghead: , one to be used in a later issue so I dont know the part number but its the round bit on its own between all the gun barrels (think its a gun enplacement) Hatchette have said they are sending me a replacement, hope this arrives undamaged!
Its part 330 (I should have opened my other issues first  )
Cheers
Les

Hi

Sorry to hear you got a damaged part.

I too had a discrepancy in my delivery last month. I advised Hachette. Lo and behold two weeks or so later a replacement issue turned up. So full marks to them. So yes I to hope you get a new undamaged issues. But based on my experience I don't think you have anything to worry about with regards to a replacement.

I had the same problem with that part from Issue 57 - looks like not enough thought was given to how the plastic sprue is packed

Have other subscribers got movement on their accounts for this month?

mine is now nearly a week overdue for issues 48 to 51, no sign of them going live on my account at all.

Starting to think I may be going a third month behind everybody else.......

Just recieved my replacement issue 57, guess what? Part 330 is damaged again! :angry-banghead: Not so bad as my first issue. I think I can straighten the part with the use of some hot water or hairdrier.

My part 330 in replacement Issue 57 which arrived today is also damaged too. I hope that Hachette will take more care with future issues.

Got home from hols last night to find my issues have finally arrived!

Oddly enough, as well as my delivery note, there was a second delivery note in the box with somebody else's name and details on it.

I guess there is somebody in Glasgow still impatiently waiting for his issues.

We are somewhat behind on this side of the planet. I picked up Issues 57 & 58 from the newsagent yesterday.

One side of part 330 is a little bent over. It's salvageable without putting myself through the hassle of trying to get a replacement down under. The tyranny of distance!! I'm more worried about future issues as I'm expecting there will be more of the same part coming.

Of more pressing concern is Issue 58. It states that etched frets 1069 and 1070 are included in the issue although only parts from 1069 are used. Just as well as fret 1070 is missing!! Was this the same for others - can I expect 1070 to turn up in a later issue or should I go and raise this with the newsagent now?

Kind wish,

Bruce

Antipodes,

I checked my issue 58 and the etched fret 1070 was with the issue, oh lucky me!

This site will show you the etched fret 1070: http://www.buildingthehood.co.uk/modelframe.htm

Bruce, I've just checked and fret 1070 was in the same issue (58) - however it's not used until issue 63.

I'd raise this with the newsie to get a replacement.

Thanks builder and CF-FZG,

Went and saw the newsagent a few weeks ago and this morning got the call that new copies of 57 & 58 had arrived. :)

I went and picked them up this lunchtime. :) :) All good with undamaged part 330 in issue 57 and both frets 1069 & 1070 in issue 58. :D :D

Kind wish,
