HMS Hood HachettePartworks

Postby history_ally » Tue Mar 25, 2014 8:47 pm

Has anyone experienced any delays in receiving the latest artworks for this ship. I have received up to and including Issue 123 in January and nothing since.
All emails and phone calls have elicited no information. Whilst this is a very expensive model it suited me but now I am concerned that I shall not receive the final issues which I believe number up to Issue 140.

I'm only at 115 . But I have no trouble getting though . My tip is to ring bang on 8 in the morning - their lines open then

Hachette are legally obliged to give the full 140 issue run

I know a poster put up a notice about some issues going fortnightly then back to weekly. Can't think who

I rang hachette yesterday to order another issue, (98) got straight through no problem, I also asked when can I expect my next delivery and was told it would be dispatched on the 29th march.

I have not received anything since January, I have e=mailed several times and phoned (to be put through to someone who could barely speak English) I have been assured on three occasions my next delivery is on its way. Last phone call I requested a refund and was told once again my delivery is on its way. now intend to use snail mail and write to head office requesting either a completion of the series or a full refund.

hi history-ally
I`ve also had nothing from hood, my last issue was Feb 16th nothing since then.I have the remote control model, issue 121 the propshaft covers was for the standard Hood, I rang them, I could not make her understand what I wanted, I asked if they could send the propshaft covers for the remote control model ,they sent me the same again.I don`t know what to do now, I wonder if any body else has the same problem with the remote control

Hi guys,
I got swmbo on the job today (I've seen grown men cry at the mention of her name :laughing-rolling: )
This what she came up with, hope it helps

Try these 2 new numbers Head office 02070145950 and a premium rate Number 08444935410 to avoid the premium rate number call head office and request them to put you through, the word "dispatched" on line actually means "allocated"not sent.

Never done such a thing before.
Fingers crossed for the last 13 issues.
And than I will play on the :violin: for my deliverer in the UK: a great thank you guy.

have just checked my account on Hachettes website, my last delivery was Feb.8 up to issue 119. it shows a despatch on 5/4/14 up to issue 128 for which I have been charged. no sign of 120-124. neither dispatched nor charged.
