Thank you number1 :) it makes a big difference to the overall look, bit fiddly to do but well worth the time spent.
After taking the wheels off the Bentley it needed some sort of support so I 3d printed some very quick and simple T shaped (upside down) brackets drilled to take the axles. The front end is up on a sponge for now.

The more I look at this build the more that needs doing and re-doing, always the case after finishing a model you feel you could have done things a little better but it is what it is.

My first completed wheel (spare)
I'm really happy with the way it came out and have learned from my mistakes, hopefully the last four inner rims will be kind to me :)

Thanks guys ;)
The sleeves I used were the ones baby astons gave me years ago 0.7mm ID for the DB5 along with a 0.5 drill and that one drill did all the holes no problem. I've only got 20 left in the purple pot and the others I got off ebay and amazon, the sellers all said the inside diameter was .5mm but they are actually .8mm and far too big for the brass so I'm still looking for the correct size.

I have been trying two small strips of wood for the floor in the back of the car but not sure yet, it has a nice grain that looks like separate strips so I may try scoring some lines between them

Thanks Morris :obscene-drinkingcheers: I needed two pairs of specs

While I'm looking for 0.5mm sleeves I made a start on the bonnet hinge.
The left side has a bad twist in it so to get it back somewhere straight I dipped it in hot water for a few seconds before clamping it down till cool. It worked a little but still needed a second dip to get it back in shape.
